Maps
iZurvive offers a large variety of maps for the DayZ Standalone, the DayZ Mod and ARMA. Chernarus+ (the map of DayZ Standalone) even comes with two different types:
- A topographic map that is useful for navigating by using contours, highlighted roads, buildings, rail tracks, and much more.
- A satellite map which allows a focus on the game's terrain.
For the DayZ Mod, we support the classical Chernarus map as well as additional maps, such as:
- Namalsk: The famous mod featuring a winter setting
- Taviana: A DayZ mod with a whole new map in a mediterranean area
- Origins: One of the most played DayZ Mods using a derivative of Taviana
For ARMA III, we support:
- Altis: The largest official terrain in the ARMA series with ground area covering approximately 270 square kilometres (100 sq mi)
- Stratis: A smaller island that expands over an area of 20 square kilometres (7.7 sq mi)
- Tanoa: The new map for ARMA III Apex set in the South Pacific Islands with an overall map size of 100 square kilometres (38.6 sq. mi)
Loot Icons
The DayZ standalone version has largely changed the way how loot works. Almost every building is now accessible and has pretty much the same chances for the same kind of items. But there are special buildings which contain military loot, farms, and many more. iZurvive highlights these special buildings and adds many important landmarks which help users find their current location on the map. These landmarks include light houses, water towers, ponds, deer stands, water pumps, and many more.
The interactive part of the iZurvive DayZ Map: Tactical markers
Finding your own location is one part, but collaboration with friends is one the key aspects of playing the game. With iZurvive you're able to set a username and join a group which allows you to share your location with other players. But not only are you able to mark your own location, you can also set markers to flag important places like meeting points, vehicles, houses, and more!
Find your location on the map
In order to help players find their current location, iZurvive offers a large variety of different features, including the already mentioned landmark icons, topographic and satellite maps, and more. But one of the exclusive features of this DayZ Map is the city search function. Every DayZ player will know the situation when entering a city, seeing the town sign and trying to figure out which city this is. iZurvive allows you to search for this name (and even using characters which use similar to the cyrillic ones) and directly zoom into the location.
